I really like everything you put in here. Theres a few differences id like to make note of because i dont see them very often. I got destiny because its an rpg. A fps rpg. This was exciting to me not because im a giant fps competitor. I loved the cod mw series because the campaigns were great. But the pvp got hacked so quickly it turned me off fps pvp pretty hard. But the rpg aspect made me excited. I love rpgs and always have. Destiny was the closest to an mmo rpg i had ever enjoyed. That being said over the course of the last 3 years several things have become clear. 1 the rpg aspect of destiny is a background consideration. They worry more about catering to competitive pvp players while throwing in just a little half assed new content to still fly under the banner of an rpg. Reskinning enemies is not new content. Barely any new gear since most of it is a reskin as well. 2 the cash grab is extremely obvious. Numerous promises of free dlc only to charge when it comes around. The new once per account per week chests with terrible rng. 3 gold truth ornaments so far. 1 doi. Oh the the doi ornament you get from the book is the only thing you cant get repeatedly. 3 i think activision is scrambling so hard trying to salvage so many games that are tanking. (Looking at you wow) that games like destiny who maintain a solid fanbase are left in the dust. Why work so hard on making it great with 2 around the corner? Put the money and effort elsewhere. Theyve been screwing up the games of every company they buy because they meddle too much. Destiny is no exception. All in all i like destiny. But the last 3 years have shown its not going to be something that is worth the time and effort a good rpg requires of me. And therefore not worth the money. Looking forward to mass effect andromeda. Ff7 remake. And for now i guess ill mess with fallout. Destiny has become a legend of nerfs and money grubbing. Farewell bungie.
