I had been under the impression that the vortex is an effective area denial/deathtrap sort of thing, until I used it in Supremacy. I would nova on some crests and guys would just walk/slide through it, get the crests, and move on. Then in Control I'd launch one in a choke point and guys just walk through it like it ain't no thang! Was the Vortex nerfed or something? Considering how deadly Aftermath is I'd expect more from my space magic...
