Here's the predicament. Pre-ordered rise of iron and my card got stolen and was blocked. Microsoft provides no way to change payment on pre-order and thus order was canceled. Couldn't buy it again because content was already installed and Microsoft support suggested waiting until after launch. So, I get on today and little to my surprise Microsoft support got it wrong (5th time since this started). So my thinking is, since the content is installed I just need to go back and buy a licence for it (through the director seems easy enough). Now the question is, if I do this, will i be able to access my pre-order content, which is currently installed, or will it go away because the license I'm buying doesn't activate it.
