Imagine watching a short movie of the iron lords patrolling the outer rim of the wall, looking around for siva. Then after a while their wolves (or Efrideet their sniper) spots something approaching, they then have to do an all out fight against siva and we get to see what happened to Efrideet and how Saladin survived and after the battle you see Saladin approach back to the iron temple with their bodies and make graves for them.
