I think the point emote should place a waypoint on whatever you're aiming at so other people can see what in the world you're pointing at. Imagine how useful it would be to mark a chest you found in patrol, mark a camper's general location in pvp, or explain the raid mechanics to someone new and mark the important areas they need to know about.
