I feel like some of this might come from previous metas being dominated by hand cannons. People are still walking around with a grudge against certain weapon classes regardless of their actual position in the current meta. That's the only way I can reason with that message. Because, let's be honest, The First Curse has a moderately slow time to kill, excluding the unfortunate player running minimum armor. The only real edge it has is the strafe speed. People need to chill, basically.
