Peoples consistently saying " use a shotgun " to others saying " shoulder charge is OP " is slightly annoying. Seriously? I'm suppose to use my limited SPECIAL to counter your infinite Melee attack? Something that is basic to your class shouldn't be on the same level of power as a special. Power rankings from least powerful to most : Melee, primary, special, heavy, super. A lower ranking attack should have a harder time killing a player using a higher ranking attack against you. Yet, the way you say " use a shotgun " you're stating the Melee is skipping over the primary ranking, and is on the same tier level as a special. And you think that's ok? Anyways, I'm not stating that you can't kill a SCing Titan with anything else besides a shotgun, just find it annoying that some SCing players feel that it's fine their Melee is on the same battlefield with specials.

Dude you can use any special in the game and your primary to counter it. Not to mention stickies and supers just to name a few.

Stickies don't work because if a Titan is using shoulder charge and you hit him with the sticky, the sticky is going to kill you. Some of you people act like you've never played this game before

I actually have never been close enough to a sticky to see it kill myself, not to mention then can't you just sticky and run away.

If you are close enough to a shoulder charging Titan to be killed by his shoulder charge, then yes, you damn well better believe your own sticky grenade is going to kill you. And no, you cannot just run away from it. If you have ever played as a warlock, which obviously you have not, then you would know they have an extremely slow jump and they will never get away from their own sticky grenade at that range.

I know that. I'm telling you that in that situation focused burst and warlock skating will not save you from the explosion of your own sticky grenade. Ugh

Ok fine so stickies are only counters for titans and hunters, still that makes every special, every primary, and stickies on 2 of 3 classes counters for sc

Not to forget map awareness and running away so Shoulder Charge will run out and then attack them.

Not really. You can pretty much just throw stickies out. Nevertheless, I know of every counter for a charging Titan, but that's not the point either. The point is, due to the current state of the crucible, SC is overpowered in its own unique way and needs adjusted.

They have no abilities buffing gunplay, no abilities improving overall effectiveness at gun fights or grenades that are helpful in straight up gun fights. They are designed to fight as such, and the fact that they can be countered in so many different ways proves exactly my point, that it isn't op. Every op gun so far in the game has only been able to be countered by the same weapon. Doctrine could only be countered by doctrine and Arminius. Snipers could only be countered by snipers. Thorn could only be countered by tlw and thorn. Get the gist? With this in mind you can see very well that shoulder charge can't be overpowered because it can be countered by every weapon in the game.

I have presented you with my evidence, and you have not successfully refuted it. You have ignored my points that are each excellent in their own right and only counter with a random observation of your own. That is not how you successfully make a claim or win a debate, kind sir.

Just a point: The only comments that you made were in relation to the idea sc can't be countered by a sticky and can't be evaded by a warlock jump but that doesn't make it op in any way when you can stop it with many different weapons. I have yet to see an argument you have made as to why its op that's logical.

So do you. If anything I would know just how many times I've countered Shoulder Charge and been countered while using Shoulder Charge. You need map awareness. If you are going to sticky a Shoulder Charge you better now where to got to cover after landing it.

So what you're saying is: You're saving your special ammo for something/someone else, and feel cheated by needing to use your special ammo to get a kill rather than be shoulder charged? Do you evaluate each enemy target's equipped weapon and then tell them to please wait while you switch to an "appropriate" weapon based on your weapon of choice hierarchy countermeasure chart? [spoiler]j/k, but really you can just kill them with a fusion rifle like I do 😉[/spoiler]

Honestly man you can just put a few bullets in the Titan and if you time it right melee to finish or if you have blink then just use that right before they get near you.
