they also ruined the pvp for people that enjoyed the original pvp. I loved it when things were "op". and they really weren't op, it's just how destinys multiplayer worked and if you couldn't handle it then get the fūck out

Exactly. I remember playing the crucible in the beta and loving it, now I cringe at it. The mention of people using a specific weapon in PVP that I use in PVE immediately makes me start searching for a replacement because I know it's about to get nerfed to hell.
