If you can get it through 3oC drops or buy it from Xur, Bungie has made sure it's a piece of crap and not worth the slot. The swords are really the only exotics that actually feel exotic [b]and[/b] useful, but even they are situational versus normal swords. Destiny shifting to being a mostly PvP game pretty much killed off exotic weaponry.
