When Video Game Hype goes too far

As many of you know, The video game No Mans Sky has been delayed. The author who announced it first, Jason Schreier of Kotaku, is and has apparently faced a huge influx of death threats by crazed fans of the game who didn't believe him. http://kotaku.com/i-got-death-threats-for-reporting-on-a-video-game-delay-1779617741 Now let's just sit there and wonder for a second. Yeah, it's the internet. Death threats and calls for suicide are as common as political "debates"
I chuckle every time
and Godwinslaw. But ask yourself, should this really be the case? It seems a little stupid and awful. Okay, a lot stupid and awful. I know I'm being a hypocrite, because I have and will do these things online for whatever reason. But it will always be in a joshing manner. Some of these tweets he got, looked dangerously real. And it was over a video game delay folks. He didn't come out and say he was gay, or his name was now Sue, or he like watching little children on the playground. This is a new low in petty crap. Even for the internet. I guess the point is, don't be a diсk, diсk. Especially not over something so petty. Videogames and forums should not be your reason for living, and if they are, you should go seek out professional help to deal with the underlying issues and move on with your life.
