Yeah, I had one drop after the update at 322 and it was suddenly my highest light so I have it a whirl. Since weekly was inferno it did really well for the surprise factor no warning shots when you come from side or behind) and primary ammo replenishment on death (vs. other shotguns). I remained disappointed in its lack of range even when fully upgraded and aiming down the sights though. Pretty weak / unnoticeable. And the fire rate sucks bad too, like you said, so there's not much chance for a follow up to finish.
