I agree with you. Idk if it's making me better but my KD has only dipped below 1 maybe 2-3 games. Last iron banner I really played about 4-5 moths ago I was averaging .8 KD per game as I felt like I had to be on the point that needed to be taken or was being taken. Others sat back and just cushioned their KD. In this iron banner the team mainly holds the line. Someone grabs the spark and I mop up players chasing them or try to shoot a hole to the rift. It has been less stressful(regardless of losses) so far as I feel the load for the most part is being shared equally by team members. But I have played with a friend and we lost 4 straight and that was enough to call it a day. So I can see why some people don't like rift for the IB. Idk if I've gotten insanely lucky with matchmaking or what but I've only had a handful of losses and have overall enjoyed the game.
