Triplewreck doesn't seem too scrubby, and he is pretty adamant that SBMM is a bad idea. He thinks it should be connection-based matchmaking and makes a pretty good argument for it on Twitter. When people complain about crucible, the #1 issue always seems to be lag related. I don't often see people complain that their opponents don't suck enough.

  • a lot of the complaints on the forums have been that the matches are sweaty, and they cant relax, or take a match off I think the complaints about lag are over-exaggerated at this point, in no way is it worse than HoW lag, we used to have video after video of teleporting guardians. Now people think just bc they see a yellow or red bar that its lag, even though they are just getting beat out by similar skilled players

  • I've seen green bars teleporting all over the screen and not taking damage. I've seen it in person and on stream. I used to get matched with potato connections here and there prior to TTK but now it's almost every match. In Halo 3 you could prioritize connections even in the ranked playlists. If they could do that 10 years ago with a smaller player base, I don't see why they can't do it now.

  • It's happening because the sbmm doesn't give a flying -blam!- about connection quality. This has already been confirmed.
