Legacy engram question
I know that if you buy one it will only give you year one exotics wth year one attack values, but will it only give you weapons that transferred over to year two or will it also drop year one exotics that didn't transfer over to year two? Like say can you randomly get ice breaker, necrochasm, ghallahorn etc?

Legacy engrams will always decrypt into year one exotics with year one attack/defence levels. Bungie weekly update: 17/09 [quote]Xûr will also choose a Legacy Engram every week. These Engrams contain Year One Exotics (at Year One Attack and Defense levels) for players who want to finish up a Collection. They strongly bias towards Exotics not already in your Blueprint Collection, to help fill in the blank slots - excluding Mythoclast and Necrochasm, which are still only available from their Year One sources.[/quote]

Hi Lunchbox Yup you can randomly get year one only(minus necro as that is built up exotic)

Hello, They can drop any year one exotic, even if there is no year 2 version of that weapon.
