The Geek Wants Out/Ready Player One
I'm posting this epic spoken word by Ernest Cline, with a warning that the contents may touch a few of you to your geeky-center chewy-core. I know it did mine.
And if you haven't read his book Ready Player One, and possibly have a hidden love for cyber punk, 80's pop culture, video games(cough cough), all things geekdom then I highly recommend you spend a tiny bit of time (even if the only time you can spare from the "real world" or playing Destiny is your bathroom reading time) to imbibe this one!

Thank you for that. I'm reading RP1 now, usually on my bus commute to and from Destiny…er…work. It's so good. I was born in '75 so it basically touches on everything I grew up with (including pen and paper rpg's) Strange though, I do feel a sort of discomfort in how easy it is to quantify being a child of the 80's is. It's like being retro-actively labeled a hipster. Actually came looking for a possible connection between it and Caydes Treasure Island. Hope I didn't just "Pull a Pendergast"
