"Huh, one of their boyfriend or something?"
[i]I chuckle and grab my bat from the backseat of my car and step out. I walk in and greet the cashier[/i]
"What's up Brad."
B-"Aye what's up Renzo, come here to swing a few?"
R-"Yeah man, give me the highest ball speed you got."
B-"Alright man, there's only one of the highest speed sections open. Want it?"
R-"Yeah man."
[i]He nods and pressed a few buttons, unlocking the cage for me. I thanked him and headed down towards the end, it was the highest pitching speed a place can offer. I throw a helmet on and step into the cage.[/i]

[b]Nat does the same, not noticing Renzo [/b] Alex: "dad, why are we here?" Cowboy: "y'all said you wanted to be swordspeople, you need to practice precision"

[i]"Dad huh? Wonder who that could be." I shrug it off and close my gate and got into a baseball stance. Left foot forward, right foot back, left hand bottom right hand top. I waited patiently for the ball to be sent my way. BOOM was the sound the ball made when it was sent from the machine, I saw it coming as if it was in slow motion. Easy, I thought to myself as I gripped into the bat and swung with full force making contact with the ball making an even louder BOOM and even echoing. The swing Renzo had done was too familiar.[/i]

Cowboy: "Girls, let me tell you something. I know earths best swordsman team, Lance and Etana. You want to know how they got good? Practice like this. Alex, you're up first" [b]He says, handing her a bat and helmet[/b]

[i]As Renzo kept swinging at the baseballs, the sound of BOOM kept going. Eventually someone looks over because of it being so loud, they notice the last name Lutu in a tattoo on his left arm on his shoulder, surrounded by tribal markings.[/i]

[b]Alex swings, hitting it and putting her weight in, knocking it far, but not too far[/b] Alex: "nat, you want to try?" Natalie: "sure" [b]She says, grabbing the bat[/b]

[i]I stop the machine and look over at them, sloppy form, grip isn't tight enough, off footing. These thoughts ran through my head as I watched them carefully.[/i]

[b]Natalie swings, just barely hitting it, but the ball hit the bats sweet spot, and travelled as far, and she handed the bat to the cowboy[/b]

[i]I looked at the guy in the cowboy hat and duster, "It isn't the Wild West man." I chuckle as I look at him.[/i]

[b]He takes the bat, and swings, hitting the ball, doubling the distance of Renzo, as he had seen Lance and Etana swing their swords countless times, and he is a patriotic American, so he watched baseball a lot, and even played daily at the base for 4 years, closing the field yesterday[/b] "Don't judge kid" [b]He says, spotting your tattoo. [/b] "you a Lutu?"

[i]I chuckle and take my helmet off, "huh a fellow swordsman possibly?" I ask myself. I look at him and say[/i] "Yeah I'm a Lutu, son of Etana Lutu."

"Etana?" [b]He asks, putting the bat down. [/b] "I knew him. How is the old Fūck these days?"

"You knew him? Who are you anyways?" [i]I saying stepping out of my gate and waking over to theirs[/i]

"Well, I'm JT. He likely mentioned a guy with a car door, no? Maybe the guy that tore his own arm off? That's me"

"Oh yeah, now the cowboy get up makes sense."

"Why, because I'm insane?" [b]He asks, chuckling. [/b]"I take it your dad never mentioned some of the more insane stuff I've done"

"No he has, I just didn't know who you were at first, now everything makes sense."

"Okay then. I take it daddy dearest put you in the boarding school?"

"Alright" [b]He says, walking back to Natalie and alex[/b]

[i]"hm, mind as we'll hang out with them." I think I myself and follow JT[/i] "So how's the NWH doing?" [i]I ask in a lower tone.[/i]

"Goddamn excellent" [b]He says happily[/b]

"Well that's good, how's the progression of troops?" [i]I say leaning back on the gate.[/i]

"150,000 soldiers, highly trained, VERY well equipped. I'm talking tanks man, fūcking tanks, guns, and all the ammo you could ever need"

"Wow, that's a lot of firepower, as well as with the help of lance and Etana."

"Yeah. Etana with a sniper, maybe some hacking device, and Lance with a sword. You really want to Fūck things up though? Give your dad an EMP and a flying ship."
