Yes i heard that story, nor you or i will be able to say "yeah thats exactly what happened" one thing that did happen tho is people bought the game based on original advertisement, we were never made aware of the rehash until we bought it.

unfortunately (or i guess fortunately), watchdogs never grabbed my attention so i never got caught in that hype
