ORYX Challenge mode predictions
Hello fellow guardians,
I have taken time away from my desk to ask, What do you do think is going to be next weeks challenge for ORYX?
Since the past two weeks of challenges have been fairly easy (WARPRIEST, AND GOLGOROTH aka BIG SEXY). My predictions is everyone has to be runner at least once.
*update: I didn't think that one through. I meant more than one relic runner.
Give me your input on what you believe what the ORYX challenge might be and how you felt about these past two challenges.

UPDATE YOU CAN STILL USE 1 RUNNER. Challenge is 16 orbs detonated at once.

Here's a new idea I haven't seen it may be you can't get the relic the same direction as what was just done. So if you start clockwise you have to switch to counterclockwise and vise versa and keep repeating this.

1 Respuestainstead of anticlockwise, i reckon you may have to go clockwise... just a suggestion haha Or more convincingly, nothing has changed to oryx until shade of oryx, then you have to take the bitch down before every member is inside. Whatever it is, im sure we will be in for a treat XD oh and cant wait to see what 50 calcified fragments gets me :)

4 RespuestasEither different relic runners or diferent platforms. Remember you didnt have to have everyone hold aura during warpriest, so I dont think everyone has to run relic, just you can't run relic twice. You dont need to worry about killing all 4 knights because NORMAL mode doesn't have knights spawn, and they have to make it so where you can complete it on either normal or hard.

2 RespuestasWell we know that it's going to involve everyone doing something based off of the last 2 challenges however Everyone running relic is wayyyyy to easy and it would force you to go 6 rounds which oryx enrages on 6. Having a different person run relic each time still sounds to easy Killing Knights sounds more likely but that's how it was originally meant to be played Doing all 4 orbs each round sounds like it could be a possibility All I know is that is going to be insanely hard

5 RespuestasOryx dies a combo like golgoroth, 1. Different runner everytime. 2. A Guardian inside the aura will get the unstable light, and has to be away from the group, the person with the effect cannot be near the light bombs or else they detonate instantly. Said Guardian can not be the holder him/her self.

The reasoning for this is because there aren't any Knights on normal mode. I'm not sure what else.. No health regen like Crota would just make Titans with Blessing of Light of even higher demand. PS: Bungie definitely might just add the challenge of having a different relic runner each phase and nothing more. Anything else won't attract the 90% of the community who are a bit more casual than the super hardcore. Obviously they will make something that most of the fans want, not a less significant group.

Whatever it is, it will not change the mechanics of the raid it self. Probably get 4 blights exploded at oryx each time, but they have been glitching which would make people extremely pissed. Something as simple as each time there must be a different runner. Which would make since because by the six runner, oryx will be enraged. In any case people are going to be pissed since the oryx encounter alone is difficult for most.

1 RespuestaMost likely a different relic runner (although it won't require everyone to run since you can beat Oryx in 4 runs--5 max). Kind of wish they would do something else though to spice it up a little. Can anyone say . . . . . Fallen Captains

1 RespuestaI think it will be the same as the Warpriest challenge. You cant be runner twice, so you'll need 4 runners. Thats it, nothing more.

A Titan has to use their newly extended melee range to jump up and punch Oryx during his final stand in order to stagger/kill him.

it's clearly gonna be a new runner each run since you can only do 6 runs before enrage

I hope it's mlg pro!! Different runner all bombs detonated. They'll not add any special mechanics...
