VGAS - Video Game Awards
So as most of us know, the VGAS were held in America last night.
22 awards were handed out to a multitude of games, including Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, No Mans Sky & Rocket League.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt took home the ultimate prize with the "Game Of The Year" award. To be honest they deserved it.
Destiny: The Taken King was only nominated for two categories;
Best Multiplayer
Best Shooter
Destiny: The Taken King lost both these categories to Splatoon (a game in which I have never even heard off, but I'm going to look into it later)
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts? Would you have chosen any other games to take these awards?
Do you think The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt deserved the best award of the night?

edit: as someone mentioned below. Splatoon also topped Halo 5, COD: BOPS 3, Rocket League and Battlefront.

9 RespuestasI knew Witcher 3 would take home the award, but I don't agree with the decision. So many stronger games that were nominated. My pick is Fallout 4, and had it released earlier in the year, I believe it would have won. Although, I can't remember the last time I agreed with the game that took home GotY, so I guess my taste in games varies differently from the voters.
