You said it yourself anyone can get it so whats the problem? You also said that that it's an mmo and you shouldn't get end game gear solo.....wrong. You shouldn't get end game PVE gear solo. Most mmo games offer end game pvp and pve sets thats the appeal to people that don't raid. Pvp sets offer pvp perks and guess what pve sets offer? Also if you play PVE then someone having higher light than you doesn't effect you in any way.....Having higher light in trials and iron banner does. I think drops should be better in raids for sure but ppl need to stop worrying about other peoples light and focus on there own.
