Yeah honestly Bungie needs to actually give us what we pay for. It's absolute GARBAGE why we can't use and equip the items promised, and play the content that is delivered.

Did bungie say there were 18 new exotics to get and only released half or is this info of 18 new ones coming from data mining or what shows in the weapon database?

It was in a weekly update. I can't seem to find it now, but I, someone on this post, and a few of my friends (just checked with them) specifically remember the phrase "half dozen... for each class" in reference to the armors.
