"Destiny is non-stop pointless grind"

Every time I see a post like this (there's one every other post it seems) I can't help but think these have to be 15 year olds complaining. There's no way a grown adult who grew up gaming on Nintendo and SNES and other past systems that didn't have the luxury of the Internet complains about stuff like this. Grind? I've been grinding games since i started gaming. Mario, street fighter 2, mortal kombat and so on and so forth. I beat those games more than I can count and for why? Because it was fun. They're still fun, and they don't give you any rewards even close to what destiny gives you. We got cutscenes as the reward and knowing you beat the game. All you pussies who are complaining are just entitled little brats that expect everything for free and that everyone should adhere to all your needs. Grow up. It's a game. If you don't like it take it back. You have that freedom to do so. You also have the freedom to complain and be a little bitch and you're exercising that to the fullest. Get these turds some pacifiers, stat!!!

  • Normally I'd throw in a reference to my decade of playing WoW... But it's true, the grind was real, long before that. Every JRPG I played was padded with hours and hours of grinding. There were weapons and items that if you missed a small window of opportunity to acquire them, they were lost Forever in that play through. Most didn't have a NG+ feature, so if you wanted to replay them, it was back to square one. Even action games had their own sort of rote memorization grind, as they were nigh impossible to pick up and beat on your first attempt (or 30th).
