Fire a Gally shot for my dog, Gali, Guardians
Gali, our family dog, passed away this evening. She was with my family through a lot of hard times. I grew up with her, and it's extremely difficult to grasp the concept that she is now gone. I still remember the nights when I'd carry her up my ladder and into my loft as a kid..
After everything we've been through, she's the first to go- and it's hard for all of us to accept that. She was 11 1/2 years old, and was barely hanging on. She had a basketball-sized tumor in her stomach and it was growing rapidly... She left us today at home, in her bed, surrounded by her loving family.
So if you have the time, take to Earth, Mars, Venus, Luna, or even The Dreadnought, and fire a Gally shot for my pup, Gali.
She was a German Shepard, and a great one. I'll be wearing the Wolfswood Bond for a long time.

[b]Update:[/b] [i]The sympathy, love, and all around compassion you Guardians have all shown today has been both heartwarming and overwhelming. It's times like this when I remember that even though we can be a rowdy community, if there's one thing we know how to do, it's help each other, to be caring, and there for each other. The fact that none of you know me, but have the hearts to sympathize with my family and I on such a deep level is incredible, and I will never be able to express in words how much I appreciate that, and how thankful I am to be a part of this gaming community. You're like a second family to me, truthfully.
Lots of kind words tonight, I'm feeling a lot better, and am going to try and get some rest for the night. Keep doing what you do best, Guardians.[/i]

Sorry to hear that. My cat is 14 years old. It could be any day now that she passes away. Heartbreaking to think about, and I dread the day it will happen.

Our pets are God's gift to us. They love us through the good times and the bad times. They don't judge, they don't berate (well, some cats do), they love us for us. I am very sorry for your loss. May your dog rest in peace.

A couple years ago my dog named Dutch died from a brain tumor... ;( I took my other dog spike he cried because he lost his best friend . I could feel your pain bro.

1 RespuestaI'm sorry for your loss man. I'm slowly saying goodbye to my big guy (Moose the Mastiff). He's got major arthritis in his rear. He's on a decent NSAID now and he on apain med in the afternoon noon. Doing better, but winters right around th corner. Moose was a rescue from great lakes mastiff rescue. He was kept entirely outside. His original owner gave him up. Dropped him off at a vet mid January in Michigan. Sometime before the vet opened. He was tied to a tree outside and his owner zip tied a note card to his collar that said "Please put him down. No use for him anymore. The vet found out he had an ACL tear, a fractured tail, and a healed skull and jaw fracture. They fixed him up. He spent a lot of time with a foster family. That's when I met Moose. He came home with me after the paperwork and background check. He didn't bark, cry, or make a sound for an entire year. Then he became the boss off the yard. Terribly affectionate. If he sees anyone on his now shorter walkers, he starts wagging and rolls over and just wants to be touched Try not to think about losing your pet. Remember how happy your pet made you. Remember how happy he was because of you! Hang in there!

I'm terribly sorry for your loss, and I know it might be difficult, but instead of dwelling on it, the best cure for the depression of losing a dog is to get another puppy. Good luck :)
