I recently read about the shot package perk being removed in the game due to issues in PvP. I just wanted to voice my concern about this issue and shotguns in general. First, shotguns in Destiny have no range to them at all. Combat shotguns may not have the same range as a hunting shotgun but they are still effective further then 5 feet and they should do this even with a cylinder barrel with no choke. Now to the second part, the shot package was great way to add a type of choke when aiming to have the shotgun be effective at 10 feet, which should be normal anyway. So now, not only are we forced to use shotguns without a perk that made it more realistic but truthfully people will probably stop using them. To add an example of a successful yet overpowered shotgun; the Halo shotgun had the proper effective distance. All that is needed is to take that concept but not that be overpowered. Now because I know people don't want to read too much... We need more distance with the shotguns, even if they are weaker. Edit: From what I understand, there will still be the rangefinder perk to increase the max effective range which is great but when the spread still needs to be effective at 10 feet. Edit: ok what about replacing shot package with rangefinder or hand loaded. V/R Braun700
