Agreed partially. Not all gear should be infusable. I'd say raid gear, Trials gear, Iron Banner gear, and exotics. Otherwise, Shadow Price, LDR, Hopscotch Pilgrim, FelSniper, Matador, Party Crasher, and BTRD would still reign in Crucible. Nothing is really stopping people from using them in PvP, but some Y1 gear should be useable throughout the game... Especially since we're still on Destiny game number 1.
