You know what worries me?
1. Oryx can come back to life in any plane of existence with the aid of his worm.
2. Oryx is made for war and can never stop fighting.
3. Oryx is immortal if he doesn't meet the true death.
4. Oryx can use the fundamental forces of the universe (magic) to get stuff done.
5. Oryx functions at the bidding of forces outside his control (his worm).
6. Worms make Oryx a slave to the primordial forces of the universe. In this case, the Darkness.
Here is the freaky part:
1. Guardians can come back to life in any plane of existence with the aid of their ghosts.
2. Guardians are made for war and never stop fighting.
3. Guardians are immortal if they don't meet the true death.
4. Guardians can use the fundamental forces of the universe (magic) to get stuff done.
5. Guardians function at the bidding of forces outside their control (the Speaker).
6. Ghosts make Guardians slaves to the primordial forces of the universe. In this case, the Light.
I figure that we are someone's idea of fighting fire with fire.

The guardian in the pod on the Cade's stash mission chose to not fight.

Oryx's throne world is the dreadnought. So when we kill him there he is dead for good.

We also grow stronger by killing, just as Oryx did.

We grow stronger from absorbing light. Getting XP from Killing things is just a game mechanic.

This is absolutely brilliant. The connections are great and it really gets you thinking.

Someone made the connection between oryx and his sisters to the 3 kinds of guardians. Aurash deep in thought like a warlock, Xi Ro a warrior like a titan, and Sathona cunning and tricky like a hunter.
