I don't have any video to show proof but you could easily test it out on your own. The shot package perk on shotguns doesn't always proc while airborne. I've tried it against walls to see if the spread is affected by shooting in the air but it isn't. This causes many people to lose kills that they could've gotten if that bug wasn't there since shotguns suck without it.
