Under 280 light? Did you get some engrams from 3 of coins? Infuse!
So for an exotic shard and 2.5 k, you can rebuy 2.0 exotics at 280 light.
If you have a slot that's under 280, and have recieved an exotic in that slot, rebuy that exotic and infuse.
Currently you can definitely do this for helmets and gloves, as xur has helmets and gloves.
