It's been over a year since my Ghost woke me in the Cosmodrome. A year since the Speaker tasked me to help defend the Last City on Earth, and the Traveler that hovered above it. In that time I have helped defeat the machine-like Vex and their 'God' in the Black Garden, helped put an end to the Vex, Atheon, in the Vault of Glass, helped bring down the Hive Lord, Crota, in his own realm, and recently helped put a permanent end to Skolas in the Reef's Prison of Elders. The Vanguard tell me that I have done great things for the City, tell me that I've earned a break, but dämn if I don't want to be out there helping other Guardians fight. Word has it that Crota's father, Oryx, is pretty pissed about his son's death. I've tried to get the Speaker to have me brought back but I've been told that, due to a grievous wound I sustained during a battle between myself and a Hive Knight, I must wait until the 5 month leave is done...äššhole...I'm fine and ready to kick some Darkness äšš. I've seen fellow Titans return to the Tower with a new ability, something called Sunbreaker and I'm forced to sit here with a pretty useless Ward of Dawn, or worse, the Fist of Havoc. Oh well, I will return to the fight when allowed I guess, unless of course my wound heals faster. Good luck my fellow Guardians, from what I hear Oryx and his forces are bad mother fückers. Edit: I will never again look down upon a Warlock's powers. Ikora and a small group of Warlocks gathered together and healed my wound. The Speaker gazed on in amazement as this feat was accomplished and I rose from my corner with a vengeance for the Knight that took me from the field. I have seen these Taken first hand, have been granted the Hammer of Sol from the Sunbreakers, and I have seen your face. Oryx, I helped to kill your son, now...I come for your head, prepare your army. Actual story behind this: Can't play because my PS3 won't download the update for the Taken King (I have the space it just kicks me half way through). I plan to get a PS4 in February, when I have the money, and rejoin the fight then. Hope you guys found the story cool though. Edit: So my wife had this idea to bring our modem upstairs and hook it straight into my PS3. Within 30 minutes the update, the Taken King and the Suros weapons pack had downloaded.
