The taken are freaking insane. They have like 3 attacks for anything you got planned. There's an almost never ending flow of them. Now don't get me wrong. I'm loving *nearly* everything about this taken king. Only thing that really pisses me off is how all my year one gear, is cow turds. Armor and weapons. Maybe I should go around and grind some more and get better gear, sure. But if my light level is over the recommended light level. I should be able to take a few hits and dish them out with even greater force. Yeah no. The taken just eat everything and give nothing. I'm not that social of a guy, so making friends that I can play with is really hard. It seems that almost all this new content is based on having friends. A fireteam. I get that it's an mmo, but unless I'm going in for a raid or a huge boss battle. I shouldn't have to rely on someone else just to make sure I don't get swamped. I'm only ranting because I'm bored. And after 16 deaths on the daily heroic mission. I'm also pretty pissed. Cover? Yeah no. Not with most of the taken having some sort of homing attack. And also, those -blam!-ing chest in the dreadnauht, seriously how the -blam!- did they expect anyone to figure half that shit out? Go sit in a room and wait long enough for a status effect. And those runes. Man. Damn. Come on. I'm not asking for a full length walk thru or anything just a bit of a hint as to what the -blam!- I should be doing. I cant think of an mmo with a quest, or quest system with so much mystery to it. I hope some of you also share in my frustration with this. I enjoy a challenge. But when that challenge can't be met with what you gave me, and I have to go out of my way to either, lfg, look up some kind of cheese or guide. Maybe there is something wrong.
