I know there is a lot of debate and disgust with moving forward with old gear. As a collectionist I want to keep everything but understanding balance and to keep new content fresh. I appreciate moving past my relationship with my old gear and trophies. So, what about an armory trophy room as a solution? Maybe it is a room in the tower or on your ship, but a third person experience where you can mount all your collectable weapons and armor on the walls from important triumphs like Raids and trials? You can essentially "retire" them somehow, but still revel in your former glories without just tossing them aside. Even if it is something simpler at first, like a kiosk that keeps track of everything you have earned (like the new shader emblem idea) would be a great step forward to acknowledging the collectionists and freeing up vault space. I use destinyexotics.com to do this, but an in game feature would be amazing. I am concerned how old raids and trials and other great parts of the game will stay relevant if you are only collection temp. Relics that will be dismantled. Just my thoughts that will hopefully land on bungie's ear.
