I'm not saying it's a conspiracy. I'm simply saying that most things Bungie says and does are suspect as of late. They'll say anything to improve their image.

Well i certainly don't doubt Dinker has other commitments and can't come running when Bungie needs voice overs.

Neither do I, but I don't take anything Bungie says at face value anymore either. There's something else going on, and honestly it really doesn't matter what that something is. What matters is that the performance of [i]both[/i] voice actors that played Ghost was not on par with their talents as voice actors. That leads me to believe that it's the writing and direction they received from Bungie that is the problem. Now, do you have anything else to say?

I think the writing is fine. Billy Nighy and Lauren Cohan did fine work for example. Honestly, i don't like North or Dinker's versions for the Ghost. Its not Nolan North's best work and Dinker always sounded like he was reading. You could tell voice overs was not his cup of tea.

I think [i]all[/i] the (vast and immeasurable) voice talent was squandered in this title. When Staten left, well...the quality of the writing just hasn't been the same.
