That's a load of crap and you know it. Dinklebot was getting all kinds of hate. I was fine with him, but lots of people were saying stuff like "phoned it in". Be that as it may, I'd bet my left nut Bungie tried their hardest to get him back. The amount of hassle and expense involved in a total overwrite had to be considerable. They wouldn't have done it if they had a choice.

Wrong, dinklebot was chided because of his lame lines written by Bungie. Peter did a great job with the rubbish he was given to work with.
