Basically I wanted Crota to be an ancient, corrupt Guardian who had seen the power of the Darkness and turned away from the Light. But now we're seeing, ancient powers being rediscovered by Guardians to fight an ancient foe. So why not have a boss fight against a Taken Guardian? Perhaps several, even. Guardians using twisted and corrupt versions of their staple powers against us, maybe a Guardian who is immune to our powers alone requiring us to use creative combinations of powers. He could be the first major boss of the Raid. I mean, obviously, this won't happen, the first major boss of the Raid will be a giant Knight or something stupid like that, but still. A man can dream.
