Sharpening filter or no more FXAA?!

I was literally having a conversation with a friend on reset hour about the beautiful job they did on the post-processing in Destiny. The FXAA smoothing was so well implemented. It gave the whole game it's signature polished and hand painted look everyone loves Destiny for. Well... In the 2.0 patch, not only does it seem like FXAA is completely gone or at best turned significantly down, but there's definitely an actual sharpening filter now in the post-processing (like the horrible one Xbox One got flamed for using and still does but don't like to admit it). Here and there it provides a sharper and more detailed image but at a massive massive cost of having moire and aliasing crawling all over your screen. It gives the entire game including the menus a more 'Call of Duty' aesthetic. This not only goes against the primary visual philosophy of Destiny (that I adored) but this creates more eye fatigue and irritation. Feels cheaper.
