Instead of an entire crew running and maintaining the ship, it was designed for the latest creation in A.I. development to act as the sole personnel aboard the ship, thus making Atlas the captain of the [i]Piranha[/i]. As a trial run, a fleet, along with the [i]Piranha[/i], were sent to the Barainess System to record data throughout the trial. After a month, the data came back with great results. Atlas was capable of coordinating offensive and defensive scenarios and adapting to the situation at hand faster than any human crew aboard a Drone Carrier.
