[spoiler]As a relatively new member of the community, I feel myself compelled to echo the sentiments voiced in this post (I have watched both Belle Bunny's and My name is BYF's videos). With Destiny, Bungie has created a compelling world, awe inspiring and full of beauty. And the community (mostly) reflects that. What saddens me is when the real world seeps in with its ugly head. Chief among these sad faces, I call out: - those who value their opinion above all who want to see things "differently", - those who will their voices to be heard loudest by silencing any "difference", -those who prefer to spew hate rather than share their love of something, simply because the ones who want to share it are "different". Such a small planet fighting against the Darkness. Isn't it sad that some Guardians want to cut others out of the fight for being... Different?! Regardless of the community or the society, be it real or virtual space : lacking respect and empathy towards one another can only be detrimental to all in the long run. Knowing that my reply is both needless and repetitive, I'd still prefer adding to the noise by saying "[b]We can ALWAYS be better to one another"[/b] rather than secretly nodding my head in another corner of these forums. So...[/spoiler] Bump. Respect.
