For any human too shallow to realize, the idea of God (or any god/goddess really) is transcendent to anything we can understand. Asking for evidence from God is just a waste of time... how could you understand it if He were to give it to you? The only thing barring many people from many religions is simply the fact that they presume they can question something that exists in a way they cannot comprehend. If that thought doesn't appeal to you then religion is not for you, I can see why many people are not content to "blindly" have faith (whatever you all think that means lol) in something that doesn't give them solid evidence. But religious people aren't going around asking anyone why they don't believe in God. No one is calling any of you dumb, or telling you that you are wasting your time doing something central to the way you live your life, at the very least. Have some decency towards what others dedicate their lives to, people are so -blam!-ing rude these days...
