Snipers, Heavy Machine Guns, and Golden Gun ARE THE ONLY things that should be fired at Atheon you utter bell end!!!
You start launching supers and rockets at him or anything with area effect damage, he'll be dancing round like Vanilla Ice on Crack!!!
You want him still, take aim, and wipe him out!!! Drop him in one "Times Vengence"

Golden gun sucks balls against atheon. LMG's/Snipers/Fusion Rifles are your best choice if you don't have Gjallahorn
