Make the d-pad useful bungie?
Make the d-pad a option to use consumables it would make the game better and a lot faster than waiting for inventory to load. There should be a option to change the action of your d-pad depending if your doing pve or a social space or crucible

this game depends on releasing at little as possible from all the content they chopped, diced, and screwed for the sake of a planned obsolescence marketing technique.. they will ignore this thread like all the others because im sure they have plans set in place for our d-pad.. they already added the voice on/off control.

Yea this has been mentioned so many times and still bungie refuses to acknowledge it. Instead they add more useless emoticons which is absolutely dumb. Only use is to third person it in pvp to look around corners. At least make it options to have it as emotes or a function pad for consumables or quick weapon/gear set swaps

4 RespuestasOr since you can hold Y (for xbox) to switch to heavy weapon... how about holding down the d-pad a certain way for 2-3 seconds and auto pops a synth. Would still allow you to use your emotes.

Been waiting for this!!! Would love to use consumables on D-pad. Setting to personal preference would be awesome. I speculate this may be a thing with TTK as micro-transaction will give you new emotes thus you will have to swap/set the new one on the D-pad. Fingers crossed.

This would actually make me back to play destiny :o swipe to left, secondary ammo, swipe to right heavy ammo... Warframe took it into consideration, when you swipe in different direction you perform your special abilities depending on your warframe

Since they are sucking Sony's dick, why don't they actually implement the ps4's touch pad? Swipe this way or that to access synths or loadouts or auto go to tower/reef. PS, fück last gen. They have half the system, they get half the game/features.

This would allow players to quickly and almost seamlessly switch subclasses in a heated battle where orbs are available, but a different subclass's abiliies are better suited for the situation.

I feel like they're doing this in The Taken King. Last weekly update (one about quests), there's a photo of a new u.i. The d-pad looks to switch through something, one of which being bounties.
