I don't understand Bungie's insistence on disallowing matchmaking for the raids. That said, it's clear at this point Bungie is unwilling to make any changes to this. I'm making this post to suggest a compromise: Allow matchmaking of two full fireteams for raids and force them into team chat. This way, you will have 3 people (likely all friends) who are connected via party chat already and are going to be set up with microphones. The chemistry will already be there for each team of 3, so it will just be a matter of "gelling" with the other team of 3. Heck, you could have one or two without mics and this would still work because they will be forced into team chat and will hear what everyone else is saying. I don't know what the barriers would be to overcoming this, but I hope that Cozmo or Deej or the community at large picks up on this idea (or some variant of it)... I have exactly 2 friends on the game with me. We make up a full, mature fireteam and would love to be able to pair up with another fireteam without having to jump through a bunch of hoops. Help Bungie!
