You are looking way to hard into this. Bungie is just lazy and love to copy and paste. Your idea for how to obtain the FoaF is way to creative for Bungie.

So none of you would probably even believe this but I've had unknown patron before. It was the first exotic bounty i ever got but i dismantled it cause i looked into what trails of Osiris were and no one knew. I got it about 4 or 5 weeks into the release of the game. Ive been trying to get it back ever since, its the only exotic i need. This idea is very farfetched but if anyone wanted to try it I'd be game. Gt xbox 1: wiechanator. Message me if you wanna try
