Well, you've got me there- we don't live in a perfect world, and I can't give an example of a company that is 100% transparent to their consumers.
But that doesn't mean that it's impossible. All it takes is one to take on the challenge; one company that says "no, we're not going to bait-and-switch our products to our consumers, we're not going to disrespect our valued customers by telling half-truths or even whole lies, and we're not going to keep in the dark those who have put their trust and hard-earned money in our company."
Hey, that's how all the freedoms that we enjoy now came to be. Someone at some point decided that it was time for the standards to change for the better, and started making a difference. Look where that mentality has gotten us, and imagine where it could take us if the companies and organizations that we invest in decided to take on that same mentality.
It may not have happened yet, but that doesn't mean that it never will. No need to be pessimistic about it. ;)
