What is "year one"?
So, i read on the armor when you ascend it, its says until year one. Does that mean i have to ascend it again on a certain date (like bungie day, new years, etc), or nothing happens? And also with the exclusive year one emblem, how long does that last until?

I assume you're talking about the Triumph Emblem. You have until September 9th to finish the triumphs needed to acquire it. The Year One ascension speaks to the fact that the current armor levels are the max until the first year of Destiny is complete (September 9th 2015). Beyond that, Bungie has yet to announce what we may see in regards to the future of our equipment. We'll know more once the Taken King hits, or Bungie announces something.
