Riddle of the Shape
Here's my hand at creating a riddle:
All have seen me. You may even know my name. None have met me.
I lie as a reminder of oaths not kept.
I am as fallen as the ones who fight at my threshold.
They really burnt bridges, didn't they? And to think, you thought you would never see me again.
Speak my name, after all, what do you know about shapes?
Hint 1: Through dark halls filled with demons and predators you come to meet me.
There was no escape.
