Hey, Bungie. Remember when you announced that you were letting us upgrade our old gear, and the reason you gave was so we wouldn't all be forced to use only the latest and greatest gear sets, thus ensuring that we could have greater diversity in our looks? If you add "stat attributes" and/or perks on the new class items in The Taken King and don't go back and add them to all the existing class items (such as the legendary versions sold by the Speaker), the new class items will become effectively mandatory to compete, everyone will switch to them and trash their old class items, and you'll be right back in the same hole of "everybody looks identical." Just something to think about.
