After reading the Eurogamer interview with Luke Smith on TTK it has come to my mind that there may actually be a serious plot twist to the end game. As Deej stated that day 1 Guardians will have something special for them in the next update, I believe a secret room will unlock for the veterans in the TTK raid where you will have face Luke Smith and throw money at him until he drowns and dies. Then day 1 guardians will be rewarded with exclusive emotes for their endless struggles. The fight will last several hours as we know how greedy he is and supers will be replaced with a scatter grenade of collector edition copies of destiny which will take down his shields. If you are lucky you may be rewarded with a massive strange coin which will be summoned by Deej the unloyal and can one shot Luke Smith.
