Having just played IB to rank 5, I noticed some trends. Every week not a day goes by where someone posts about Thorn being over powered, or some level of criticism. TLW on the other hand seems to enjoy a completely untarnished record of use. This week I did the whole IB without using my Thorn, but the gun that I was most consistently killed by was (you guessed it) TLW. Seconded by Thorn and wrapped up by the Vex. Now, I know we all have our allegiance but I really have no axe to grind or need to defend the Thorn. If I was to change Thorn it would be solely to remove the 'Send it' range addition, but otherwise I wouldn't touch it - I don't struggle playing against it. TLW on the other hand, if you're in 50ft of that thing it's pretty unplayable when stability is used. So, why does TLW evade any scepticism, it needs less stability just like the Thorn needs less range.
