Don't generalize. I have a Hunter, who is the only character I have, and I'm always running gunslinger subclass, because I like the marksman style, in fact, I have never used a shotgun and/or blink, even if I'm playing FFA on a small map. I always have a hand cannon, a sniper and rocket launcher in PVP or even in PVE. Maybe because I'm an oldschool gamer from H2, or something like that.
