[u][b]This part of the creation is to figure out what weapon type.[/b][/u] After we figure out all of the details of this weapon and make sure it is balanced I will make some 3D sketches and start a main thread for this and try to convince Bungie. I know it is a slim chance but who knows!   • What ever the weapon is it should do void damage as there is currently only one void exotic weapon (Truth).

    I propose a primary AR with a different type of explosive rounds. You would have a toggle (similar to the Murmur) where you can select "Standard Rounds" or "Magnetic Explosive Rounds". The rounds do not track, but each round that hits the target, sticks to the target. They wouldn't actually do any damage until detonated. When the desired number of rounds are reached, a trigger can detonate the rounds, doing various levels of damage depending on how many rounds have hit the mark. If the "sender" dies before detonating, the rounds simply disappear, just like a Titan's bubble once they die... The risk vs rewards factor comes into play... Do I take him out now (Standard Rounds), or risk getting wiped before having the chance to detonate? Do I get the hits in, and wait, enjoying the panic that player must be feeling while they wait to meet their demise? Am I too cocky, and get killed by that player while I'm waiting? These are just a few scenarios. I'm unsure if this weapon should have any kind of elemental effect or not though. Just something that came to me...

        • Technically we could have a primary heavy weapon but it would be balance in some sort of way. for example we have primary Sniper rifles and shotguns. Why cant we have secondary hand-cannons. This is an exotic weapon we are talking about, it can be different! Being different is the whole point to exotic weapons.

                  • After we decide on the weapon type we will then decide on the damage type and then the weapon sub type (Shotgun, Hand-Cannon, etc.) The real big discussion will be about the actual perks of the weapon and that will be very time consuming. The final forum will be about the physical appearance of the weapon and I will come up with several sketches from what the community suggests.
